2014, Aelfric Eden was founded in San Marino, CA. As an Asian American, the founder of Aelfric Eden brings together a diverse upbringing influenced by both Eastern and Western cultures. The founder said: “We have experienced both cultures and have seen the best of both worlds. Our goal is to combine our passion for Asian streetwear and Western-style to create a sense of fashion that we can all appreciate.” This unique blend enables them to bridge the gap in the subculture world, creating a distinct form of expression and identity that is uniquely their own.

2025

Complexcon

At Complexcon 2025, the "ORDER IS A LIE" capsule and centerpiece installation delivered our message on-site. The setup sparked emotional resonance and active participation, as crowds stopped, engaged, and turned curiosity into the day's highlights.

Fashion Fest

On the runway, burned and distressed product designs became a clear metaphor for our vision "MAKE WAVES NOT RULES"—burning away rigid rules and hinting at the birth of a new, self-defined identity.

Pop Up Tour

Our first Asia pop-up landed in Seoul, bringing the "MAKE WAVES NOT RULES" spirit straight onto the streets of Korea. The space connected brand visuals with the city, offering a direct encounter with our concept.

Live Fest - TikTok Live Fest 2025

In 2025, MAKE WAVES NOT RULES went offline for the first time at TikTok Live Fest. Aelfric Eden set up a youth-culture hub, met creators from the platform, and shared our message clearly: we don't follow rules, we make waves.

Aelfric Eden unveils a new logo and visual identity, launching the "Encyclopedia of Style" series, blending subcultures and retro street aesthetics for today’s youth.

The Vintage Era Collection draws inspiration from the 70s, 80s, and 90s—reimagining iconic American subcultures and infusing them with a modern streetwear edge.
